if it's any consolation I know a career DRG who saved up and bought one and sold it after a few months after using it like once D:

If attendance at a major women's conference was down 80% due to a boycott fighting against trans *inclusion*, it would be all over the Times, Telegraph, Mail etc. This last weekend, attendance at a major women's conference was down 80% due to a boycott fighting against trans *exclusion*. Crickets.

WoW has also spent like every xpac since TBC trying to limit or remove flying, despite players wanting to move past without objects or pathing, I guess it's just problematic in MMOs lol. Apparnrlyy the dragon riding thing was quite well received as an alternative there

if you don't know your own address it's because you specifically don't have to know it. people that detached from reality shouldn't be in a position to drive social policy for those of us living in reality

eventually "developing FFXI" is going to be one of those longstanding japanese crafts where only a few aged masters remain and they do the NHK documentary about the one guy who's the youngest apprentice at 47 and still gets up at the crack of dawn to tend to the mill

It all began with a stone, or so the legend says...~ Final Fantasy XI was first released 24 years ago today! Who else has it as their favorite FF? 😇

unlimited free ff11 trial is fantastic news. even if it's just up through zilart, that's so much cool stuff through one of the most evocative and beautiful settings in the medium. i don't know if there's a single other game that better explores emptiness as a feeling, and that's a big compliment.

Biggmann standing in West Ronfaure with his moogle trust casting Pollen. Several orcs and the moogle are sneezing uncontrollebly as a bunch of pollen covers them.

Text surrounding the picture:

FFXI has lots of options left! Puppetmaster, Corsair, Rune Fencer, Geomancer, technically Ranger and Thief...the tactics games also have lots too (albeit some of them overlap conceptually a lot with other jobs already in existence) :) Would love to see them reuse the automaton rig from FFXI in HD!

Arguably the best part of Masa is the AM3 for big white damage...on weak mobs (e.g. Yahse mandies) I've seen zanhasso procs with crits for 5k per hit (so 10k+ attack round) :O Granted that meant I was def attack capped vs that mob which almost never happens on anything non-trivial 😅
