If the Dems win both the House and the Senate in 2026, they won't be able to expand SCOTUS (filibuster + veto). But couldn't they cripple it? Set the clerkship budget to $0. Set the ops budget so low it can only have a handful of hearings. Effectively shut down SCOTUS the way they did DHS this yr.

As much as I loved prime 1, this entry really makes me think the series is better off in the past. 4 was fine and I was happy to get through hard mode, but good lord was “fine” not enough. Luckily Dread is a top 2 game in the series and I think(?) the best selling, so long live Metroid!

It's particularly galling to call for ICE to wear body cams when Renee Good's murder literally recorded the whole thing on his phone. He was so confident in his impunity as part of that organization that he recorded and allowed for the release of footage of him shooting a woman at point blank.
