'devout Christian multi millionaire ' somehow just doesn't work for me...

So a professor of moral theology thinks that his church's involvement in an abhorrent historical wrong is ' unremarkable '?

In all the coverage I've heard so far, I haven't heard the names of Carol Cadwalladr or Peter Jukes who have been writing about this for years. Being reported as a new story. Utterly useless journalism.

As a proud green, I would like to confirm I am still wearing sandals well into October. Without socks.

Also, what happened to the story about Netanahu having intel about hamas attack and not passing it on? Feel like I'm becoming a conspiracy theorist against my will!

Well, I grant you it might suggest a more clued up electorate north of the border! Down South, I wrote to my MP years back asking about Russian interference and he told me , like his boss Johnson, there was nothing to see here. I'm quite angry...

Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 12/10/2026
Any interference is obviously significant whether or not it affected the result. And with such small margins, the question needs to be asked. I don't think the Scottish situation changes that.

Would love to know how leaving the EHCR will benefit the economy.

Carole Cadwalladr has been providing evidence for about 10 years, for those who bothered to listen.
000
Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 12/10/2026
Wondering how it feels to be Carole Cadwalladr right now. Ten years uncovering Russian interference and largely ignored by MSM. Now it's all over the news and she still doesn't get a mention. And Reform still given a free pass.

Obviously perfectly normal to aggressively interview the person who came second in a by electron, nothing unusual about that. Who won, by the way?

There's always been debate about nuclear power within the environmental movement. Greens disagree about stuff, like all parties. Gets reported differently though.

Yes, exactly. It's so depressing to watch, the lack of anything resembling grown up thought.

Absolutely. If we are actually letting terrorists out on bail we are more fucked than I imagined.

Jenrick was on R.5 this evening. Disgraceful, he lied multiple times saying Burnham was going to cut pensions, not called out at all by the interviewer.

Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
Jenricks complete unsuitability for public life on display here. They are so obviously not terrorists.

Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
Everything about this story is weirdly off. No bombs, presumably no weapons (or they wouldn't have been bailed), no intelligence involved in the arrest, but Trump knows all about them. But fake branded vans and masks. Sounds more like an old fashioned heist gone wrong.

If you are not a disabled person who had to suffer the transition from DLA to PIP brought on by the Liberal Democrats Tory coalition, you cannot speak with any authority about the Liberal Democrats. They want us to forget. Never.

finances are bad so we must target the vulnerable first, best not upset the billionaires. The strategy favoured by every mainstream party. A moral vacuum at the heart of our politics.

You are laying some pretty big shit on the door of the Green party. How about we agree we're basically on the same side and concentrate on fighting fascists?
100
Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 18/09/2026
They have policies on everything you might expect a party to have. Whether they are any good, or if you agree with them is another question. I don't think they are perfect, but they are a place for lefty environmentally conscious voters. There's nothing there in the other parties

Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
As with any political party there is a range of views held and tactics employed. Characterising an entire cohort as nimbys is kind of silly. And as you didn't answer my point about libdems, I'm assuming you just have a problem with the green party. Quite like being an unprincipled rabble though.
100
Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
You can't possibly know that. Absolutely no reason to suggest that the green voters would have voted for Mohamad if the party hadn't stood. And why do you reserve your bile for the greens? Lib Dems just as culpable by your logic.
110
Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
So that's over 30, 000 people who didn't vote for the independent. Obviously the Greens fault then...

Why exactly are crypto billionaires so attracted to the Reform party?
0105
Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Yes, that's a possibility. The donations could backfire on Reform as they destroy any remnant of the party being resurgent or anti establishment. But Restore, they'll be laughing.

Richard Osborne @raosbo.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
