Grinding this out. I've been a fan of Abercrombie for years. His narrator is one of my favorites too. James Cameron wants to produce the cinematic version.

Even with all of the new shiny shit to watch I've been grinding out the Highlander TV series. I think it would be an IP ripe for a good modernized version. I know Stahelski is working on the film. I just think more time should be alotted with a lot of ideas instead of a retread of what was done.

Sooooo THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA, nineteen years young, has crept back onto the USA Today best-seller list. #42, not exactly displacing Andy Weir or Suzanne Collins, but icing on the cake is icing on the cake.

A clipping from the USA Today best-selling book list website, showing THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA at a stately number 42. Readers are the best.

Each segment has just enough character and emotion to pull you through their journeys up through that surprising climax. Incredible kills, awesome gadgets, and just enough nerdy world building to get the mind racing. Great final shot. Very curious to see where this goes next.

First time watch on Hulu. Absolutely fantastic. Trachtenberg (again) honors the series and the genre with this bloody masterpiece. Easy top 3 entry for the Yautja movies.

Pretty good start so far. The Skarsgard family is having a very good week. The episodes are short and there are 2 released for the premier.

I researched some names that came up in the show Severance to see if I could try and figure out what was really going on. All I came up with were a couple of odd residential terms, census terms, and the site of the K-T meteor impact. My best guess = A post ELE human society not on Earth.

I don’t think she’s been forgotten, but all the fiction of Lois McMaster Bujold, especially the Vorkosigan saga—all of it should be way, way more famous, in my opinion. She’s one of my favorite novelists, full stop. I would die of delight if smart creative folks made a good Vorkosigan TV series.

It is my strong belief the following should happen (I know it will not happen): Characters from Slow Horses, Black Doves and The Diplomat should all keep crossing paths in London, shows should just have people at the same parties/murders w zero explanation, just keep mixing them together for funsies

Checking out Cross on Amazon Prime. A dark crime thriller series with a great cast. Hodge and Mustafa (the old spice guy) are really good together. Eggold is sinister as hell. Should be getting more seasons. The source materiel is there.
