The more I learn about the Connor Hellebuyck the more I think the guy just sounds like a loser. Imagine signing a 7-year contract, and then 1 year later going "nvm you guys suck, find some team willing to eat my 50 million dollar contract or I'm not playing" Guess he just hates playing hockey.

When I do an assignmenmt, I like to paste the text into my editor so I can refer to it right there. As I work, I delete the text when I finish part of the problem. As I was looking back at my WebDev assignment, I noticed... Some of this text isn't on the website! AI bait... War truly has changed.

Not a math guy, but as a programmer of ~20 years, I'm quite confident with variables & numeracy Yet, nobody has ever been able to explain algebra to me. Any time I ask for help, they just kind of solve the problem, and then look at me like I'm suppose to understand wtf they did

I've done a little bit of voice training in my piano lessons and like - Watching ZFG do the Lost Woods Ocarina minigame - I unironically think it will be easier to hum the melody back instead of memorizing the inputs

I started a full-time compsci course this week. I was already weary of AI discussions before this. I do not know if I will survive 4 terms of teenagers and boomers going back-and-forth on the topic. Every course is different, too. Some are encouraging, others ban Grammarly.

I think I would expect it to be a subversion of some kind. The series is very often themed around speaking truth to power, and so I expect it to be an empowering interpretation of the themes. But at the same time, Atlus isn't always the most culturally in-tune, cop culture is different in Japan.

I wasn't sure what to do with my Labour day, so I went on a 40k bike ride around the city - I wanted to see if I could do a full circuit without a map. Man I love the Harbourfront. It's the last day of the CNE and there were so many people just sitting watching the air show.

There will never be a Riot MMO. People keep talking about it like it's an inevitability, rather than a giant decades-long money-incinerating-machine. Frankly, Riot's track record for non-LoL games just gets worse and worse, and I think it's irresponsible to make an MMO in the current games climate.

Like I said, I've not seen any system that I think justifies overhauling our entire system. I agree that they would be marginal improvements, but it is not a small undertaking, and frankly the whole thing smacks of "I didn't get the result I wanted so we should change the rules"

What's a better system? I agreethat FPTP sucks ass, but in researching alternatives, I've never seen one that really feels like it works on a national level Personally I think we would have similar problems with every system. The problem isn't how we count the clowns. The clowns are the problem.

I think the side-quests are just so obviously filler content. I ended up rushing through the last 1/2 of the game to finish before a Distant Worlds concert, and it felt like... A lot of love went into these storylines, but we were never really given a reason to care about this stuff over the MSQ.
