Been trying to focus a bit more on music theory lately, so I figure I should just write a bunch of stuff in different keys. Pretty pleased with how this first one in C came together =3 musescore.com/user/5269636...

When I do an assignmenmt, I like to paste the text into my editor so I can refer to it right there. As I work, I delete the text when I finish part of the problem. As I was looking back at my WebDev assignment, I noticed... Some of this text isn't on the website! AI bait... War truly has changed.

Not a math guy, but as a programmer of ~20 years, I'm quite confident with variables & numeracy Yet, nobody has ever been able to explain algebra to me. Any time I ask for help, they just kind of solve the problem, and then look at me like I'm suppose to understand wtf they did

So I've been back to school since the stat of the month, and I feel like school kind of sucks now. I did college like 15 years ago, and highschool was 20+ years in the past, and like, I'm not saying I want to go back to handwritten essays, but I do think those were better times.

Signing up with my school's accessibility office- and whether it's the gov't, school, w/e, I've always felt like the hoops you need to jump through for this stuff is so paradoxical Like wow, you need support to complete a normal courseload? Sick, here are 900 forms to fill out!

I've done a little bit of voice training in my piano lessons and like - Watching ZFG do the Lost Woods Ocarina minigame - I unironically think it will be easier to hum the melody back instead of memorizing the inputs

I started a full-time compsci course this week. I was already weary of AI discussions before this. I do not know if I will survive 4 terms of teenagers and boomers going back-and-forth on the topic. Every course is different, too. Some are encouraging, others ban Grammarly.

You know, for the most part the oot remake looks pretty bang-on what I expected: very faithful, but 'modernised'. I think it was largely the right choice. But oh man, I hate everything about this image. So much.

I wasn't sure what to do with my Labour day, so I went on a 40k bike ride around the city - I wanted to see if I could do a full circuit without a map. Man I love the Harbourfront. It's the last day of the CNE and there were so many people just sitting watching the air show.

There will never be a Riot MMO. People keep talking about it like it's an inevitability, rather than a giant decades-long money-incinerating-machine. Frankly, Riot's track record for non-LoL games just gets worse and worse, and I think it's irresponsible to make an MMO in the current games climate.

a screenshot from the upcoming remake of Tomb Raider 1. lara croft is looking at her phone in the middle of an ancient ruin, and it's showing her a generic crafting menu, and a png of saucepan of stew that apparently her phone lets her cook for "Damage resistance" if she has 6 potatoes

SCOOP: A few weeks before the launch of Star Wars Zero Company, most of the developers at its studio were furloughed The studio says they hope to secure funds to restore their pay. Some are skeptical it'll happen I learned about this via a bitter lawsuit: www.gamefile.news/p/star-wars-...

‘Most’ of Star Wars Zero Company studio Bit Reactor was furloughed ahead of launch

The details emerged amid a legal dispute between company founders. The lawsuit also provides an unexpected look into a studio behind one of the best-reviewed Star Wars games in years

The 2XKO news is sad, but considering how many of the FGC's favourite games are like 20+ years old titles from a bygone era - the reaction seems a bit overblown to me. Maybe I'm just numb to the absolute hell that is the modern games industry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
