I love making cosplay pieces for my kids. Really happy how this one turned out.

We’ve been waiting since September for this. Sharing this experience with my 2 oldest kids is making it all the more special.

Wore my “The Officially Unofficial Wesley Crusher Fan Club” shirt out and about today, and 2 people at Trader Joe’s looked down at my shirt, smiled, then looked up at me with a nod of approval. Lot of @wilwheaton.net fans in the Everett, WA area today.

This is not where I was hoping to be exactly 2 months later. The stomach bug I’ve been dealing with for 72 hours has messed up stuff with the meds I’m on. I’m likely to be admitted to get some meds onboard that will resolve it. And, it’s Kid 3’s birthday today. I’m feeling really down and sad.

Horror Happy Hour is a day I look forward to every month. I got to pick this month’s book, and November felt perfect for @chuckwendig.bsky.social spooky book about staircases in the woods. So looking forward to good conversation with good friends over good drinks.

There's this brief bit in the movie OFFICE SPACE where the character Tom has an idea for a "Jump to Conclusions" floor mat. He pitches it to his co-workers, and Michael Bolton (no relation) says, "That is the worst idea I have ever heard in my life, Tom." Something reminded me about it this week.
