I'm relatively unbothered by whether Mac app icons are forced to be squircles as long as they are designed nicely but my very-likely-with-OCD brain does feel that freeform app icon shapes have this "am I clicking on an app icon or just some nice-looking graphic" quality to them.

P.S. I told him one of the big things in Montreal is the Gay Village. The uncle also went "lol wtf". I said LGBT people live under prejudice, and they formed a village as we do with Chinatown. And just like that, he understood the context and no longer felt weirded out by gay people.

- pretty sure apple suddenly support landscape views across all its apps on iOS 27 simply as a side effect of adding support for its foldable phone - didn't see anyone mention tvOS 27 but most stock apps have been redesigned to use a sidebar for navigation instead of a tab bar at the top

They aren’t too difficult to make from glass jars! The most important thing is to give them enough light without heating them up (bright location without direct sunlight or better still, under a bright lamp) and also choose plants that are suitable.

不過換個角度想，其實一開始 Threads 會在馬來圈子流行，感覺上也是因為許多中間派和保守派發現 Threads 比較少聊政治，換而言之就是沒有人會討論馬來特權之類的，結果當然最後那些當初一直叫人家不要聊政治的，發現那種 saya bukan rasis tapi… 的文字在 Threads 很吃香，最後聊政治聊到最爽的就是他們。

Threads 大馬圈子越來越煩人了，來來去去是 saya bukan rasis tapi kenapa… 或其他關於身分認同的糾紛。只是如果要說服那邊的網友搬過來讓這裡熱鬧一點的話，他們大概會一頭霧水，說每天看人家吵架不爽嗎。

Those are so beautiful! South Africa has so many beautiful sundews including the well-known Cape sundew. We do have some pretty types in Malaysia as well - my fav is always Drosera burmannii because of how cute they are.
