Over time vs once or twice. The ones you listed are on the safer side but they still have risks, just a quick search to see if they recommend gloves/mask if sprayed etc is all!

Hey there! Yes and no, as in any chemical you work with you should do a read up of the MSDS. Be it a “household” chemical or not. Lots of chemicals are sold to hobbyists despite them being quite dangerous! Not to fear monger or anything its just to practice safety as lots of times its the exposure

Yes exactly!! I always wear a respirator, fan/blower, windows wide open!! Especially airbrushing!! Be it with solvents or not, its aerosolizing which means you can ( and will) breathe it in. I’m talking golden, createx, inks, acrylic!! All of it. Wear that PPE!!

Hands down the best granola out there. Ive tried many, but none come close to this. Its expensive but again, worth it. I love to add a tiny handful to the top of my yogurt as a dessert. I got this big bag hoping itll last us awhile, and it was much cheaper. Highly highly recommend it!!

Silicone is great, I love it, but to paint it you need incredibly harsh and TOXIC solvents to thin the silicone paint. One of them being literal lighter fluid. Once its flashed off its inert, but before that, it’s bad. You don’t want this getting on your skin or IN your lungs! Proper PPE is KEY

Stresses me the hell out when I watch a video tut and people are working with harsh solvents, touching it with their BARE HANDS. Bottle in the background, with skull and cross bones while they just raw doggin it, with up beat music playing lol PLEASE read the MSDS, its there for a reason!!

Since I had all my silicone painting supplies out yesterday, I opted to paint up a new cast of the tiger as well. I even cast this skin with the new molding method. Airbrushing silicone adds such a nice thin layer it compliments the textures vs filling them. Proud of how its coming along

I usually hand paint my silicone pieces but I wanted to try airbrushing for once. I tried ages ago and finally got the courage to try again. I think the prior experience with silicone made it a bit easier, cause now i am addicted to it haha. Makes me excited when the time comes for Rakule.

10hrs later- I am finished painting! About half way I thought a teal would look sick, and ended up with this. Unsure wtf it is but, I like’em! Gonna see what fur I have as I am planning a mane of some kind.

Thank you! The original sculpt is based on Beast from Xmen First class. I still had the mold so I thought it would be fun to add horns and make something new. Gonna be a gargoyle or some kind of creature. Idk! Making it up as I go.

This silicone is too soft for that. If had planned an underskull i would’ve done that. The horns for this guy are small and made out of foam. So they weigh practically nothing

Feels good to finally use up some chemicals ive had sitting around since 2021. Most were still good, KX was still a bit goopy and one old as hell dragon skin, part B was solid. Couldnt bring my self to toss these as i knew something would come along…though i feel lucky they set up for the most part
