Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Considering the red card, preserving the draw away to Como is a great result for Roma. Biggest negative IMO though is Dybala playing the full 90 with Real Madrid in three days 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 11/10/2026After a WAY TOO LONG international break, feels good to watch Roma play again. They look sharp so far! Cross-field balls have been especially effective in breaking the Como press 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Roma. In the Champions League. This seemed so far away, so impossible, and now it’s here. LFG, Forza Roma!!!!! 001
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 02/09/2026With the mercato now closed, my only gripe would be no backup for Wesley. Might be a bit thin up front if Dybala gets hurt. But Mora is a fantastic addition, Castro is hopefully much more than a backup striker, and the team didn’t lose any of its core. Very good mercato #Roma 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Working in the USA’s favor on Monday is one Rudi Garcia. Take it from a Roma fan- he’s not an X and O kinda guy, he doesn’t put his players in the best position to succeed, and he doesn’t know how to adjust tactics mid-match. 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Did Michael Irvin and Ray Lewis blow through all of their earnings as a player? Seriously, why do they debase themselves in those godawful Hard Rock Casino ads? 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 26/06/2026Looked up the Turkey squad and noticed that Calhanoglu and Demiral were on the bench. I thought “what coach would do that?!” Then I saw their coach is Montella…. 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 15/06/2026I say this as someone who generally likes UFC- this event is gross. Having the fighters walk out from the White House just feels so wrong. To have a symbol of democracy used as a prop is, again, gross Even just on the production side, the lighting is off and I think they’re using fake crowd noises. 020

Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 15/03/2026As I watch yet another season pushing for top 4 start to slip away I’m at a loss as to how to fix it. I think Gasperini is the right coach and I like this team for the most part. It seems like the current dip is due to injuries and fatigue but the squad has a lot of depth and ownership spends money 000

Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 27/01/2026Just a reminder, the only tangible leverage that exists at this point is the midterms and that is the only reason that a partial retreat is happening. Maybe, MAYBE, we’ll see something similar once the 2028 cycle starts mid to late 2027. Anyway, Minnesotans, thank you and stay safe! 000

Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 23/08/2025It’s a Roma game day!!!! I’m trying to temper my optimism as there are a lot of new players and new tactics to install. My hope is that the form Ranieri instilled in this team will be sufficient to carry us through the transitional period 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 28/05/2025Can someone explain to me the logic of going 6v5 in hockey? It never seems to work and if anything the team leading usually scores and kills off the game even earlier than they would have otherwise. Is there statistics or analytics to support it? 000

Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 20/04/20255 matches left, 6 points to go. Lazio ended up being a draw but I was right about Juve. It’s either going to be a Torino win with draws against Fio/Atalanta/Milan or a Fio win and losses against Atalanta/Milan. Outside chance of an Inter draw since the game is sandwiched between Milan and Barca 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 05/04/20258 games to go, 11 points needed to fulfill our destiny. Roma should beat Verona and Torino on match day 38. That means 5 points from matches against Juve, Lazio, Inter, Fiorentina, Milan, and Atalanta. I’ll say draws against Fiorentina and Juve and a win against Lazio. 000
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 05/04/2025Here’s how I see tariffs playing out long-term: USA imposes tariff on Country A. Country A reciprocates. Negotiations occur. Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Look, I’m glad we took a point off Napoli, but I don’t like the celebrations like it’s a win. There’s enough talent on this team to beat anyone and until they get into that mindset again we’re going to continue finishing 6th or worse in the table 000
