Digital coloring is always weird because when i look at my ref I think: "i should have used more saturated colors" but with every drawing I do it looks more vibrant despite being on the same color profile, with the same colors. Maybe it's the surrounding colors making it feel like it's different?

Yeah! Like, i saw some dice that had the right effect but the sunken part was all cute heart shapes around the number, so i know it's entirely possible, it just seems like the companies/makers take it too far to do something "unique", skipping over something more basic...

Example: when i used a mouse as my primary fursona people believed i had a vore kink. Because apparently that's a stereotype for like, the whole species I guess? I had no idea why people thought that, but it resulted in a lot more awkward introductions than I expected haha.

That's so very true with so many interactions within the furry community, or like, people thinking there's sarcasm when you say "I don't like [thing]" because of how common something may be in their own circles. It's part of why i talk so much about communication and consent in our spaces.

Exactly! Like, there's a lot of assumptions people can/do make about certain kinks and it's usually just a conversation away from being more clear. Like "Don't assume someone is into A because they're into B, ask first, consent, etc.!"

I used to feel left out because it seemed like everyone i'd find only ever drew that sort of interest which was great that they do what they want!
