There's a lot of very valid critique of the new KC Metro bus routes in North Seattle, going on. But purely 100% selfishly, my gosh, I gotta say, it is sooo nice to be able to get to a pharmacy in less than 20 minutes now, on just 1 single bus route (no transfers!), from my apartment building.

WA Apple Health continues to amaze me!! Someone can sign up on a Saturday & by Mon. night, have active coverage, have seen a dr., (fully covered), & an Rx on its way to a pharmacy, all in under 48 hrs! Not to be too dramatic, but.. when cost is a huge barrier to access care...this is life saving! 😻

Heads up North Seattle folks: 65th ave is closed to cars near Roosevelt Station & all busses are being rerouted this AM around the station, incl routes 45, 62, and 67. Plan for delays. VERY bad (fatality) accident happened between 2 cars right at the station at 2:30 AM. Police on scene still.

Beautiful day for my 1st ever visit to Carkeek Park! Leg is hurting now (still recovering from a stupid injury 3 months ago) from the 3.5+ mile hike required to get to the beach & back, to the only part of the park where public transit /city busses go. But! Great park! And SO many birds! #seattle
