It can be tough watching your very annoying cousins playing "cat-stronauts", especially when you become the target of their laserguns. -- Luckily, Murphy has just the solution: Creative use of household appliances can keep 'em quiet, as long as they believe they're at Space Camp.

There’s something uniquely wrong with the brains of people who regularly use Twitter. Like years of being conditioned to regurgitate nothing but the same handful of catchphrases has stunted their critical thinking skills

the old print design also has a "do not remove" warning on the magazine which is really funny to me since youre like, supposed to do that when you need to reload

030

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

this dude has the uk version too with the older print design but they dont show the mag so idk if the max dart change is a uk thing or just a general revision www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS56...

the magazine dart limit label is reduced to 12 darts from 15 despite the model name of the magazine being m-15-s still, presumably because of complaints of feeding issues, or maybe because its the weaker uk release?

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

i have the 8+ uk and eu version of the xshot fury-x that is way weaker than the 14+ us version

100

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

random bullshit facts: i have a newer revision of the fury-x with a different print design as the bottom of the handle used to have "cybernetics" text that had its positioning changed because of the big screwhole and also the text being changed to "cyberviral" for some reason

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

actually 15 year old me actually did start doing stuff in gamemaker lol

110

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

i started out programming with gamemaker after scratch PLUS also learning a little c++ from working on source engine mods which is like, demented c++. idk if youve looked at the source sdk code but if not itd prolly be fun to look at

010

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

same here, its just kinda bad to get a little too stuck to using the engine forever but maybe not. depends on what the person wants to make and keep making

210

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

delta timing less annoying and engine more open

010

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

im moving to godot because i wanna do more vector based collisions and shit plus its way less ide dependent compared to gamemaker when programming and stuff

110

Rahim Ali (foxgirl2005) 🦊 [Purple Dog] @rahimali.net · 01/10/2026

gamemaker helped me a lot with writing in actual written programming moving from scratch as my first language so i do thank what its done for me

naughty dog mascot is like something your uncle would draw if you asked him if he could draw a normal ass dog for you and its based on his friend cliff from college who died in 1988 because he choked on a miller high life bottle cap and then he starts crying when you ask him what's wrong

my xshot fury-x arrived yesterday its pretty cool for magazine reload references and draw anims because its a little weighty, the shape is kinda non standard but its still useful for whatever and i can still use it as reference for multiple different weapons
