Today is Septemberween, the holiday I invented where you take stock of your socks and appreciate Tom Hanks. For six years I’ve had students bring in socks to decorate the Septemberween tree. It is very dumb and the kids love it. High schoolers still ask me about it.

Yeah. I feel like my campaign look and the games I’m designing are getting better and better, my audience has grown substantially from our first game years ago. And yet… I never seem to see the success I’m after. We usually get funded, but it never blows up like I hope it will.

Man's Hilarious Confused Look

So after rocketing to 50% yesterday, Sands of Crime hasn’t gotten a single backer today, which is… very strange for day two. Normally the momentum keeps rolling for at least the first week. Guess I just gotta keep grinding and setting up ads.
