Tried to find a bot on MTGO that will take my useless avatars so I searched for "avatar" and it came back with all the Avatar™ cards/ads. I then searched for "avatar shredder" because of the card shredder bots and now I am sad.

Honestly, the internet peaked when "U R MR GAY" was discovered on NeoGAF. We should have just called it quits then.

Fired five bullets trying to LCQ for the RC today, didn't get there unfortunately. Some Limited as a palate cleanser today (as well as birding my folks in the RC) and then I'll probably play the Open tomorrow. Still on Izzet, deck is gas (I'm not though 😢)

Calling my shot here: Wildgrowth Archaic is ABSURD and we will all end up hating it very soon. As a rare, it'll be a detriment to its format just like Dream Trawler was in TBD. Absolute house. DO NOT miss the fact that Wildgrowth Archaic is practically colorless. What a card.

Dream Trawler {2}{W}{W}{U}{U}

Creature — Sphinx

Flying, lifelink

Whenever you draw a card, this creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.

Whenever this creature attacks, draw a card.

Discard a card: This creature gains hexproof until end of turn. Tap it.

Bought my ticket to Magiccon Amsterdam! Half an hour in queue, Black Lotus was already sold out lmao. Not that I was interested in paying 800€ for a con but that's insanely quick and I feel for the people who missed out.

Searching for "dandan" on @magic.cardmarket.com is almost a perfect metaphor for the history and range of MTG. Here's Dandân, a weird creature from the 90s which motivated a genius of game design to create something that's now big enough for WotC to monetize. And then there's UB slop.

Slay the Spire 2 is, unsurprisingly, amazing. Four runs in so far, reached the architect with two of them. Going to do a run as Defect to have played all classes once and will then focus on beating the game with the ones who fell too soon.
