My OG sourdough starter, Bessie, definitely has some 'neglect tolerance' traits... Transferred her into a pickle jar that I hadn't washed well enough, and had to revive the 4-days-unfed jar of discard when I realized my mistake. Doubling and bubbling again after a few days of care.

Finally made some meat to accompany the sourdough. Honey oat bread with roast beef and parsnips ft. @tastinghistory.bsky.social The portions could probably use some adjusting... I used half the beef (2 lbs) and more parsnip than called for, but I don't think this bowl has 12 servings of veggies.

Making #pemmican literally just because I had an urge to see what it actually was. Dehydrated beef strips in the oven and air fryer, chopped into little pieces and dried a bit more. Tossed the meat in the food processor with equal weight of store bought dried cranberries.

Four of the trees that my landlord tried to kill last summer by cutting the trunks and leaving the stumps and roots alone. The walnut grew up through 2 feet of dirt. I wasn't sure exactly which stump was which tree... Ecstatic to see the Japanese maple sprouting this morning.

I got to "natural numbers" and put the book down to take notes on the specific definitions of basic sets... Copied the diagram at the top yesterday like 'this set is wholly contained within the next, neat" The eureka moment I had about 3 mins ago when I 'organically' drew it again with operators...

I've been so frustrated by the lack of information when setting up certain [redacted] games recently, that I feel I need to give a shoutout to upcoming Early Access game Stygian: Outer Gods for how well they present clear and detailed info #gamedev #UI

The Video Settings tab for Stygian: Outer Gods. The left side shows typical settings with arrows and sliders to adjust. On the right side, a notebook shows a detailed description of the, in this case, Window Mode options, with a bullet list of the all possible options visible below.

Reading the @civilization.2k.com patch notes, and they claim that all "6 DLCs" in the Crossroads of the World DLC have been released, but I'm still not sure what I bought. 1 DLC is; 1 Leader 2 Civs 4 Natural Wonders Lovelace, Bolivar, GB+Carthage, Bulgaria+Nepal, Wonders = 5 Where's "DLC 6"?
