I caught a full odds Shiny Staravia while finishing off Platinum’s Dex, and then one of “my worst Pokémon fears“ happened. Of course I ran into a Shiny in the Safari Zone, and of course it instantly ran away. Still, we are on Unplanned No Manips Shiny #4 of this venture.

I’ve taken a photo of my 3DS while playing Pokémon HeartGold. A Shiny Lv17 Tauros is on screen with the Safari Zone menu asking what I’ll throw.

I just want the Magical Quest games. I JUST WANT QUACKSHOT! to be enjoyed by modern audiences. I have physical copies & can play them RIGHT NOW, and I *STILL* want them on Switch/PC. But yes. There are literally no Looney Tunes re-releases period. It'd take partnerships, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE.

WB will never. It's going to take someone within Limited Run, iam8bit, etc championing a specific game or set of games to make something like this happen. I'd say the same for Disney's Illusion games (or Donald Duck legacy ones), but the Disney Afternoon Collection is an ODD (& solo) exception.

I've completed a Living Pokédex for LeafGreen, Colosseum, XD, and Emerald. Platinum too, with HeartGold started at present. I'm getting my ducks in a row to make a complete Ribbon Master (Gen3-9, all marks) too. aaand I've replayed all of DL, Pinball, DL2, Super Star, and Amazing Mirror so far <_<

Plenty of DMG and GBC models go for ~$60 here. GBA and up will get pricier cuz they're "fancier." But if you want a good place to start, DMG & Color can be that. 3DS has unfortunately come back into fashion lately. But maybe the price will go down again over time; not sure.

The more I revisit past Kirby games, the more I'm convinced that 2D Kirby's time shouldn't be over, especially in the context of an anniversary next year. I'd pay handsomely for "The Ultimate True Arena" that packages *every boss from the franchise* and sees how far you can get, for example.

Every person's different & has different needs. But I feel like part of being your own strongest ally is knowing when you *have* the tools to navigate [vaguely gestures at everything] on your own & knowing when you need the expertise a therapist provides.

That was true. I was back in therapy through the beginning stages of the pandemic (I am immunocompromised), as well as for a year or so when I needed it more recently. You're right in that it IS starting over and it IS hard, BUT! Maybe the best possible therapist for you is right around the corner.

I was in CBT from ~2017 to ~2019, and my therapist (who was AMAZING and changed my life) ended up moving to another state. I *did* get a closing session & she was like "You want my opinion, so. I think you're good. I know you; you'll know when you're *not good* again and should go back to therapy."

It's never too early to wax poetic about Kirby. In *less than six years*, we've gone from "no 3D Kirby really exists" to "Super Kirby 3D World" to "Super Kirby Odyssey is months away", to compare the through line directly to Mario. Even if you're not a fan, you've got to respect HAL's ambition.

For 40 years, I've waited for an aged Nintendo franchise—mostly Zelda—to throw conventional themes out the window. A Hyrule *without* the Triforce is better, IMO. If *KIRBY* is the one to *literally shatter Dream Land* and the "world beyond" is about permanently pushing forward, I'mma die laughing.
