Lunch walk to get out of the office a bit...this is one of my favorite spots this time of year

A photo of a brick walkway along a river. The leaves of the trees that stretch overhead are green and changing to a brilliant yellow. Clouds skim by across a bright blue sky.

A picture of a river. In the foreground, a brick walkway is separated from the riverbank by a fence with posts and chains. The trees in the background are starting to turn orange and gold, though most remain green for now.

A close up of a spray of gold and green leaves held in front of a blurry photo of the river.

the crazy thing about making time for any creative pursuit is that you literally have to do what you have a gut-deep yearning to do or else you'll see other people doing it, and it WILL make you insane.

Gathering herbs with mama 🌿🌱 #ffxiv #xel'iajesal #ffxivart #OCsky #mi'qote

A portrait of Renata and her daughter, Xel'ia, the future warrior of light. Xel'ia sleeps against her mother's back in a sling, while Renata has a basket on her hip overflowing with herbs and flowers. The foliage behind them is verdant and lush, curling around the archway-shaped background, framing a pale blue, cloud-strewn sky. Leaves and grass spill out from the bottom of the frame.

Long before the Shattering, and before the Shadowed Realm was sealed away, it was said the Prince of Shadow loved a woman from Liurnia. 🔥❄️ #OCsky #art #VestaAvows #EldenRingOC #TarnishedOC

A portrait of Messmer (pre-Shattering) and Vesta, my Tarnished OC (pre-Tarnishing?). They embrace each other in a pose reminiscent of Gustav Klimt's painting, The Kiss, while his serpents twin around them both, framing them in crimson scales. The silver-blue misty lakes of Liurnia are barely visible behind them, beyond verdant foliage. Beneath the portrait is a stylized T, and the words "The world was so much younger then, and burned with hearts on fire. These memories return again, like gathered embers, so love remembers: back when the world was mine." (Lyrics from The Count of Monte Cristo Musical: When the World was Mine)

To Walk Bravely First into Darkness Soren von Valancius Vallaint af Demeter, the Emperor's anointed Rogue Trader of the Koronus Expanse 🕯️ #RogueTrader #wh40k #vonValancius #sorenvonvalancius #warhammer40k

Soren von Valancius walks through fire and smoke in the Electrodynamic Cenobium on Rykad Minoris. Her expression is confident and full of resolve. Her coat and hair fan out behind her as she strides forward, sniper leveled across her body and downwards. Her psyker staff is visible over her shoulder.

Coen the bisexual king you are . . #art

A digital portrait of Coen of Laslea meant to imitate traditional oil painting. The atmosphere is dark and moody, his left side of the face is well lit while the right is obscured in darkness with his vampire turned eyes remaining revealed

Freed from the wheel (rendering) so I'm working on a sketch page for Soren 😌 #sorenvonvalancius #wh40k

A sketch of Soren von Valancius. She leans against a table, a vintage style cigarette holder in one hand, eyes downcast as she look over several messy stacks of paperwork. An ink pen rests in an inkwell to the side. A servoskull hovers just above and behind her, throwing shadows over the papers. Soren says, "You're in my light."

On this issue of Interstellar mag... 💫💙 #OCsky #LuminaV #DnDoc

A mock-up of a magazine of my Astral Elf, Lumina Vyrialus. She holds a glass of champagne, which floats into the air out of the glass. She grins at the camera, long white hair floating around her, while pastel blue and pink magic arcs behind her against the night sky. The top text says "Interstellar Magazine" in chromatic shifted text, with a headline that says "The Young Vyrialus talks time theory!" A banner across her at the bottom says "The Graviturgy Prodigy Makes Waves: Lumina Vyrialus"

Only one option: light it up ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 #ffxiv #OCsky #xeljesal #EverythingBurns #Arcadion #FFXIVarcadion

Xel'ia, a miqo'te dragoon, lands in a jump, one leg extended with flames bursting from the point of impact, while her other is bent and ready to take the next step. In one hand, she holds the Abyssos partisan, its blade burning violet, while her other hand stretches back to carve paths in the wall of flames that rages behind her. Smoke and magenta flames flicker in the background, while sparks fly through the air. She wears a look of confident determination, ready to head into the Arcadion ring.

Feeding on fever; down on all fours. Show you what all that howling's for 🌑⚔️ #EldenRing #EldenRingSpoilers #Blaidd #TarnishedOC #myart

My tarnished, Vest, kneels with a maddened Blaidd, her Carian sword piercing his heart. Several Carian spell swords are embedded in Blaidd's back and the ground around them, while his sword strikes the earth with enough force to kick up dirt and debris. In the background, crystals illuminate the scene, reminiscent of those found around Raya Lucaria.

Heinrix and Soren sketchhh that I really need to finish bc WOW I love how she's looking at him here 😭

A rough sketch of Soren, my rogue trader, and Heinrix van Calox. She holds his face gently between her hands, a soft and slightly worried look on her face.

very slowly working on Soren's portrait...I'm experimenting and learning a lot!!! Still a long way to go, but I'm having sooo much fun with all the little details on her outfit + the background.

a work in progress snippet of my rogue trader's portrait. She wears modified psyker gear, and her staff is visible over her shoulder. Orange light comes from flames in the background in the lower left.

A snip of a work in progress of my rogue trader's portrait, focusing on some of the cogitators, candles, screens, and purity seals in the background. Text on the screen reads Electrodynamic Cenobium, Rykad Minoris.

Waltz with me to the very (bloody) end 🥀 My shadowseer OC from the Masque of the Sanguine Waltz killteam ♦️🖤 #aeldari #WH40K #harlequin #warhammer

An aeldari Harlequin materializes out of the Webway, surrounded by shimmering diamonds of her domino field displacer. Ghostly images appear over each of her shoulders, one in which she is wearing another mask, and one in which she has no mask on her face. Her war gear is a combination of traditional shadowseer gear in crimson and black-and-white checkers, adorned with red and blue soul stones. The mask she wears is fixed in a red-lipped grin, baring sharpened teeth.
