Wonderful to see so many #Postdocs at our Networking Lunch yesterday! Thanks to our speakers from across @bodleian.ox.ac.uk and to our attendees. Everyone was very positive & we heard it was useful to several new starters. I'm afraid we can't have pizza every week but we're always here to help.

#OnThisDay in 1872, Mabel Purefoy FitzGerald was born. A pioneering physiologist, her high-altitude research changed our understanding of breathing. She didn't receive her Oxford degree until 1972 despite finishing her studies in 1899! View her portrait in the library 🔗 go.glam.ox.ac.uk/9bJEjBejn

The accessible lift in the RSL is out of order. Access to the lower ground floor can be arranged by talking to staff. Our small lift can be used to access the second floor. We are fixing it as a priority and apologise for any inconvenience.
