I hate that everything about women’s beauty standards is about making us weak, vulnerable and just plain incapable. Long painted finger nails that get in the way of daily tasks, high heels that make it harder to move quickly, diets to make us smaller so we can’t fight back.

Being pro-trans is not being anti-women/anti-feminist. It is quite the opposite. TERFs will happily throw women under the bus if it means they get to hurt a transgender person. I'm more worried about TERFs wanting to inspect my genitals than I am of a transgender woman just trying pee in peace.

As a foreigner living in a country that only lets citizens votes and demands that you give up other citizenships to become a citizen here, I really love that permanent residents can vote in NZ. I wish there was a way for it to be extended to long term residents on other kinds of visas as well.
