i remember when someone went through much of the NES library with a tool that searched for instances of common debug strings. it bummed me out because i felt it was depriving us of the joy of finding this stuff manually. now that we have LLMs doing *everything* it's just... intensely depressing.

also!! Akumajou Dracula has a somewhat different soundtrack when played on an SC-55 (or other GS module), which i wasn't aware of until i set this up. it's not just using different instruments; Vampire Killer has an entire added section that kinda goes off the rails
