of precious water on keeping it that way, when the reality is that, with the exception of generally humid places it's completely normal for it dry out and turn yellow in the summer.

I recently read an interview with a furious meteorologist who explained that in a lot of dryer places, especially in urban and suburban areas, people's expectation of summer grass having to be green is simply a misguided beauty standard that leads to folks wasting unfathomable amounts

Could also be a Ko-Fi or something, if it's mainly about the support trickle and not so much about pressuring yourself to deliver stuff to your patrons? Iconoclasts remains one of the best indies in this genre I had the honour of playing. I look forward to whatever (and whenever) you cook up next.

I tried that yesterday on my Konkr Pocket Fit and couldn't get it to boot. Other people said the recent engine change broke it on Gamenative, nothing I tried made it work. Does it actually still work for you? Do you happen have a specific config for it?

That timing is so funny, I just reorganised my bookshelf and while moving "Our cats" I thought, "huh, have Ananth and Yuko been doing anything besides Barbarous recently..?" I had no idea you were part of Mistria, really gotta check it out now 😳

Personal red flag: when someone uses the words “male” and “female” unironically in casual conversation. Like my mom told me “that’s for animals, not people.”

If this was about original GC controllers connected via the GC hub thingie that'd be totally acceptable. A bit silly, but acceptable, that's all I'd really need those for anyway. But the NSO one even has extra buttons on it, so why..? I wonder whether they'll change that at some point.

This keeps happening to us as well. I was hoping the most recent update would've fixed that. We only figured out there's a "free me" button in the menu yesterday, before that it was like "cool, we're under the world" only to then find out the game outsaved and decided we weren't gonna leave again...

Aw shucks, I started reading this online when you only had a few pages up and forgot about it until now, was over the moon to see you have a complete print edition now, but shipping to Germany is 1,5x the price of the book Q_Q it's not available via book stores, right?

For podcasts I'd recommend Pocket Cast. I recently dropped it in favour of Spotify, but if I didn't care about exclusives I'd still be using it.

Had a dream last night. I'm sitting in Japan. A man asks if I want to try escargot. I say sure. He pulls a slug-thing out of a paper bag. It's about the size of a small cat with nigiri-like shells. As he attempts to bite it, it sprints away with the speed of a car. It looked like this:

Imagine a white slug. Translucent cream-white with the texture of tofu. Except with four stubby nubs as legs. The eyes and bulb-shaped tail are a dark brown. Across its back are big, soft scales that look somewhat like salmon nigiri. It's got a W shaped mouth
