My first visit to The Bookish Shop a few months ago, I had planned to buy the Fourth Wing printed edges and they were out. Went back today and they were in stock!! I had thought to paint them myself, but for some reason just really wanted these. (Spare me if you hated the series, etc)

Finally finished my shelf lighting for the library. A friend borrowed a few of my series, hence the empty shelf. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. It cost around $50 (I already had an electric drill + power run to the top) #HomeLibrary #DIY

I’m not sure happened to me today, but it was not the 1.5hr foot massage I booked. She was like a tiny, peppermint-scented tornado of elbows, thumbs, and possibly teeth. I don’t know if it was the best or the worst. I might be pregnant.

Got back from my first team onsite at the new job. I’m not sure if it was just the lifting of my funk, but I have never enjoyed a work onsite more. My anxiety didn’t really surface (🙏) and everyone was so kind. Our team dinner last night was absolutely so enjoyable, I can’t believe it. (1/?)

I may have previously, subconsciously realized - but it’s become clear since my last day with my last company that the amount I was reading was largely due to depression. I have slowed way down. And it feels OK. I’m grateful it was a non-destructive way for me to deal.

In recent years, chatting with my young nieces/nephews they asked how my husband & I got so tall (my family is fairly short) & I said we got taller when we cleaned/ate veggies. I said ‘I used to be 5’5”!’ And my mom walking by said ‘And you used to be thin’ Do NOT do this to your daughters. Don’t.

Today I tried to put in a ticket to access a system I need and it wouldn’t let me so I went and put a ticket in the other ticketing system which auto-rejected my ticket telling me to use the ticket process I initially tried so then I put in another ticket about my inability to enter a ticket.
