Being a parent is a wild ride. Sometimes you have a 24-hour period in which the 10-year-old's emotional regulation goes completely out the window and we are having screaming fits - and then we decide to not only clean up the small mess we made earlier, but also vacuum the whole upstairs to boot.

The mayor’s office says that it does not pay the influencers. Still, their proximity and access to a figure as popular as Mr. Mamdani can help increase their own social media following and, by extension, potentially put them in a position to attract paid content sponsorships from commercial brands. Some influencers said that when they feature Mr. Mamdani, the videos get more likes and viewers watch longer.

Keying off my last point - Forged in the Dark is Powered By The Apocalypse, but I don't think you would say that even given its significance in the hobby that it is a useful example of a "PbtA game" if you were developing a textbook definition.

That's a good point, but I think Band of Blades could be reasonably considered to be an exception to the general case, or at least a significant offshoot to the basic rules. This is especially given that I don't think one can consider Band of Blades to fit in the heist genre.

I think I agree that action ratings aren't foundational, but I think flashbacks, load, stress, and resistance rolls ARE foundational, and I don't think any of those are tied heavily to a setting a FitD game is in. (They are, however, extremely tied to the genre, which is related but distinct.)
