I finished All the Hidden Paths this morning at about 5:30 am. Slipping back in with these characters was so easy. I love their interplay and can't applaud @fozmeadows.bsky.social enough for creating characters that walk through their trauma, learn to heal, and rely on one another.

Finished 56 days this morning and holy shit was it a mind-trip. Dove and Avan were absolutely stunning. Normally I'm able to ferret out endings in the first couple of episodes. This one took till the penultimate episode to fully grasp what was happening. Watch it if you haven't. It's worth the view.

My first foray into @chucktingle.bsky.social lit has completed. I just finished Bury Your Gays and holy shit the psychology of this book is absolutely fascinating. It's a book I wish I could write a college course on. From beginning to end the story had me enraptured.

If you offer someone an alcoholic beverage this season (or really anytime) and they decline? You MAY offer them a nonalcoholic beverage instead.
You MAY NOT say "Oh come on, it's just one." Or "It's the holidays, lighten up and get in the mood." Or "I made these just for the party, you can't even taste the alcohol!" Or "What are you the DD tonight?"
No one owes you an explanation for their sobriety. No one needs to consume alcohol to exist in a space. No one's needs to consume alcohol for your friendship and the camaraderie of their community.
Even if it's someone you KNOW drinks regularly, drop it. The holidays can be triggering enough for folks. No one needs to be harassed and abused because they choose to be sober for a night, a weekend, or a lifetime.

I couldn't renew my license online, so now I have to go in to the DMV and have a ridiculous amount of paperwork to show I am actually me, I can see, and am "sane". The office sent a link to check in 30 minutes before my appt. It keeps telling me I am early.
