Capitalism CAN reduce prices when there is competition. Healthcare and hospitals have almost zero competition. There is one nearest hospital and comparing services is rarely possible and cannot be done on price. Private equity was never going to help patients.

Here is a debating approach that reveals when the other person knows you are right, and has them admit it. Overstate your case in a way that had them correct you on a detail. That establishes they always knew the major point was true, and that the restated detail is true and relevant.
