Almost all of the pagans, witches, atheists, and agnostics in my life are behind Pope Leo right now. This is the best example I can think of to combat the far right extremist claim that christians are always hated because of who they are instead regardless of what they do.

Many people are deeply resistant to the idea that fascist strategies are in use, bc in their minds (&the mind of Hollywood) 'fascism' is defined not as a set of targeted rule but as 1940s Germany. I don't know how to convey it looks different when the country is much larger and in the age of tech.

But be clear on why he did it: "our constituents are asking us" Folks calling, showing at #townhall did this. Keep the pressure on.
