in hindsight, there may be a sort of subconscious correlation between the release of the Witch Hat Atelier anime & my newfound interest in fountain pens. not a direct one-to-one correlation (since I can pinpoint several more concrete reasons), but I wouldn’t discount WHA’s influence entirely lol

I understand the Pilot Kakuno hype now. I got my kakuno before I knew anything about fountain pens so I had gotten it in a really fine nib size (absolutely not my usual preference) & also abandoned it for months after the cartridge dried out because I didn’t know how to clean it—
