seriously though you're not a real adult until at least age 30 so don't worry about your age just have fun the stuff you did in your teens/20s/early 30s(maybe) are all the stories you're going to tell your kids. stop waiting for life to happen, make the cool memories today

what about a dark silo who actually figured it out 30 years and absconded and are out there with a little village. what if donald hadn't collapsed silo 1. and like, ok, if the whole complex is contained within this dust dome. how are the edges defined?

YEAH like how did they tell the nanos what to attack and who to preserve? what if they failed to account for dna variations and actually all of east asia is fine, or something plus all the hundreds of thousands of people in alllllllll the other silos. they could all have their own stories!

Unforgotten wouldn't stop popping up in my recommended shows to the point where it is unavoidable (and my mom told me to watch it years ago) got about three hours deep before i realized i was up two hours past bedtime

media.tenor.com

a woman is standing in front of a window with the words unforgotten written on the bottom

Alt: unforgotten nicola walker standing and listening and then being like "um.. um ok" and turning to walk away

if you say "let's watch Pride and Prejudice", i will joyfully pull out my DVD set of the 6-episode 1995 BBC miniseries because that is the only screen adaptation that exists and i will not hear otherwise

someone really talented could pick up halfway through the last book and keep the story going in an equally shocking manner but i mean REALLY talented to carry it on at the same level

silo book tweet (finished last night) for a series that was heavy with shocking twists and heart-stopping reveals, the end was pretty bland. nothing unexpected happened. it just... cleanly wrapped up. mostly cleanly. missing some explanations

also her dad was super mystified by the weird unrotted corpses and i feel like we never finished addressing that ?? he was like "damn this is really strange" "something's not right here" but then they just left and that was it? nobody's gonna explain?

and the end got progressively more obvious as it approached, so i spent much of it braced for the twist that surely had to be coming... and then it didn't. it was just like ok cool story's over. ...alright

took me forever to finish reading and get back to this bc school. finished the book last night. i agree. it's kind of disappointing, because the whole series it was like "oh you thought this thing was fucked up, but it's actually way MORE fucked up bc of this detail you had no idea about"
