The thing that I disagree with you during the podcast segment (beyond Dylan being a weak protagonist and being better as a villain, thats insanity talk) is that Control had better combat, they made you throw rock and a weak gun (TWO guns by endgame) for 30 hours, its fundamentally same as resonant.

My own personal hot take is that Control 1 and Also Resonant has the same kind of "flashy but shallow" combat where you FLY around the arenas that may look cool but have jack in terms of combat appliances and your arsenal of weapons is REAL limited.

See, I think its a thing that people only mostly care about when its done in a game with any kind of customization feature, or where your protagonist isnt a clearly defined person with their own personality. Needless to say - I dont think Jex qualifies for that kind of thing.

Its insane how good Capcom was this year. 3 games came out and all 3 of them are great, all killer stuff. I really hope we get any info on how high the budget on those games was because if it is sub 100 million for each then it will be real embarrassing for all of the other AAA studios.

From what I seen this breaks the game somewhat because enemies attack you mid animation of parries/reposts which makes it so you are aggressively surrounded by enemies and is almost without a way to escape taking damage

I feel like if PS6 and XBox will release without any meaningful change in the company strategy on either side (which, imo, Xbox is cooked and Sony is hanging off the cliff with only one finger on the edge) they will not be in the game market at all and wont advertise their hardware as game consoles.

ZZZ is the most insane case of being better in almost every single aspect of Genshin and HSR but fumbling the core cast by not including the ONE thing that would actually make it actually baller. We get like 20 characters a year and guys are like in sub 15% of the overall pick.
