That helps a ton. Sometimes I try to drain the boiling water into a stopped sink to try to soak it off, but that means I have to be cleaning efficiently in advance of that. I also have this little beauty, but it's getting worn out and cleaning *it* when I'm done has become maybe worse.

I know I'm getting old because watching world cup in American timezones is rough. My body is tuned for games from 7am-3 pm

It's soooooo good. The only drawback to making it at home is the cleanup. I've had several of the Spätzle maker things and no matter what the design, the dough gets cooked onto every little corner (and then cheese gets stuck on everything else). But so worth it

Couldn't make myself wait. Here is my first prototype with polish totally not designed for stamping. I think the colors will work, if I start with a blue base coat and manage to either get a stamping black or just improve my skills to get the texture.

Yes! I had an Apollo 17 norite made into a phone case. My plan was to do a near side of the Moon on one thumb, using the Mooncat Moonlight Lullaby (shimmery and glow in the dark!) and far side on the other thumb, and then do anorthosite and likely a norite on the FS hand and basalts on the NS hand

Unfortunately I chopped all my nails way down to try to remove areas where they're flaking due to letting polish peel off. Hoping they grow back in time to execute my plan during Moon Joy month, or at least by ELS.

I'm so fished in. I went from having three bottles of nail polish. Black, dark blue, and a way to scratchy black with large glitter chunks that looked like chrondrules. Now I've bought a giant assortment to try to paint my nails to look like lunar samples in thin section. May start with rainbows.

Way too many bottles of sparkly nail polish in boxes.

I bought two of their magnetic ones as well--can't wait to experiment with them. And of course Moondust. I tried buying the base and top coats in the hope these will last more than a day, which is my norm. Turns out geology, gardening & aggressive cleaning are not super compatible with pretty nails.

Anyone in the DMV, the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company's current production of the Tempest is absolutely fantastic. I've seen it many times, but this one took my breath away. The set, the staging, the acting...perfection. It transports you to a magical world.
