The fruits of 40 years of my parents toiling away, wiped out. The home I contributed to building, a haunted house. The massive tree in front of our home under which people and animals sheltered in the summer, burnt to a crisp (on purpose or collateral damage? who knows).

🧵After 2 yrs, we finally got photos of our home in Khartoum. Like many others across Sudan, completely looted down to the electric cables. Two holes in the walls where shells blasted through. And an INSANE amount of trash. Idk what RSF do to accumulate so much garbage - maybe it's done on purpose?
