I don't offer a pnp for one of my games, because the physicality of the game needs the cards to be like standard playing cards, not sleeved or homemade. I could have gotten a bit more money by offering pnp but it wouldn't have been the same game.

I give the same advice for the exact same reason. Build understanding, empathy AND your skills at social interaction, sales and marketing, and, thus, pitching! Key point: for a lower stress but more fruitful time, work a booth where your own games aren’t being sold.

The absolute hardest part of game design for me is pitching games and emailing publishers. Often, the only time I have is in the evenings when I've already spent most of my creative and social energy and getting something written up and sent is a hill that I can't surmount.

Started Pandora's Legacy - a puzzle puzzle - on my birthday weekend. Just doing the first part and it's been really fun so far! Really excited for the rest of it! The pics aren't spoilers (imo) as it's the very very beginning of the puzzle.

Played my first megagame tonight - 25+ ppl in a room playing the same cooperative introduction game and it was both overwhelming and fun. Amazingly one control was able to handle the whole room by themselves. This now makes total sense how these games can promote disaster preparedness. #Origins2026
