v1.0 of "King's Quest 1: Rubber Tree Edition" is up! Apply the mod here: denzquix.github.io/agi-patch/ You will need the files from the non-enhanced DOS version. The patched files will run in ScummVM under the "Fan AGI" option, or in DOSBox if you include other files from the original game folder.

I only just discovered Duke's about a year or two ago. 😞 It's over, isn't it?

Everything that’s wrong with society can be traced back to the decline in popularity of point-and-click adventure games. None of this would be happening if there was a AAA King’s Quest game every five years

Ain't no jury that's not going to convict Biffo if they see this. Look at that look on his face - he knew what he was doing!

Give me a single screenshot from a video game that immediately makes you hear the soundtrack in your head

I see a lot of, "This is the worst song ever" posts that go on to list a decent song. It might be a song that has become annoying by being overplayed, but not a *bad* song. Here's my entry for the song song ever, at least from big names. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqM3...

Was watching someone stream King's Quest IV tonight, and they had the original packaging for it. They came across a brochure promoting a demo cassette for Sierra's music through various soundcards for people to compare. I wonder if the audio is archived on the internet in someway? (There is!)

The Steam Awards are live, so you can nominate games that you feel deserve recognition. Here's my GOTY nomination! I highly recommend everyone do the same.

A nomination for Game of the Year for the excellent text parser adventure game, "The Crimson Diamond".

I haven't streamed much recently, but I'm planning on getting back into it for #DOSember! I grew up on DOS, and I've been wanting to play some old favorites & explore weird stuff that I'm unfamiliar with. Now I just have to pick out what to play!

Is there some reason why Bluesky has suddenly turned into mostly book/literature related Tweets? Err... well, not "Tweets", but you know what I mean. I feel like I'm suddenly seeing post after post about reading books. I'm assuming some kind of "discourse" going on?

I've been trying to find a Windows 3.1 FMV games for almost 30 years, and I've finally found it. I present to you, "The Psychotron". I only had one scene to go off of, so I could never track it down. The best, cheesy FMV acting out there... www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nkD...
