One of my fave aspects of Sanji will forever be that he flirts the way he does because he expects nothing back. He doesn't think he deserves to exist so he gives affection endlessly. It's why he overheats at hand holding or is oblivious to ppl liking him, he doesn't expect it😭

I watched Witch Hat Atelier with my sisters and now I’m reading the manga and I fear I’m going to be extremely not normal about Qifrey and Olruggio

I don’t know why “Darling” being the one normal pet name Sanji uses for Zoro is so perfect to me. It’s gentlemanly, and has just enough cheesiness that it can kind of be played off as sarcastic, but also isn’t so cheesy that there’s no sincerity to it.

Realized these designs were sitting finished in my files, but I never posted them for some reason I had a dream where the Straw Hats went to a western-themed island. Franky turned the Sunny into a covered wagon so they could join a wagon race and other fun western shenanigans #onepiece

the only non-negotiable for writing is you have to read. doesn't matter if you're writing comics, prose, screenplays. read. read books, articles, scripts, comics. fiction and non-fiction. read lots of 'em and never stop reading.

The other super long and involved OP fic I want to finish writing one day is a gen au my sister and I made where Blackbeard turns Luffy into the marines for warlord status and Ace teams up with the Straw Hats to save him. Affectionately called Luffy’s Slightly Inconvenient Field Trip to Impel Down

Zoro: He keeps notes on my food preferences. Person: …. Isn’t he the cook? Zoro, thrown off guard because bringing that up is a surefire way to make Sanji turn red and kick him through a wall: …yeah, but I don’t— you don’t get it, he likes me Person: ??He’s your husband?????

Established relationship zosan where Sanji is always out to ruin Zoro’s reputation a little bit. Like he hears someone talking about how scary the King of Hell is and Sanji’s like “yeah right, he pouts if I don’t pet his hair while he naps”

I love zosan because they’re deeply in love and married and obsessed with each other to an insane degree but if you ask either of them who their favorite person is they’d both say Luffy

I’ve said this before but it confuses me so much when someone is like “I’m 100 eps into one piece and I don’t get the zosan hype, there’s sexual tension I guess but it’s not that interesting.” I’m always like??? Do you think nothing in the next 🔥900🔥 episodes is going to develop their relationship??

Accidentally opened twitter and people are arguing that -checks watch- Americans are being America-centric by saying that the word “lyching”—a word coined in the usa by some dudes named Lynch to describe a specific way of “punishing” (murdering) black people—has an inherently racist connotation.

this is why education is so important dude, there's literally papers detailing archaic pre-windows 98 computers with extremely simple programming could respond to basic text inputs using a list of canned responses, and that was enough to make multiple users actually think the computer was alive

Visual example: Let's say it's VERY important that your readers notice a key getting stolen by a mouse. You do NOT want your readers to miss this as it plays a huge role in the plot later. Will some people notice the mouse in the first example? Sure. But EVERYONE will notice in the second.

Two simple cartoon panels both showing one person worriedly asking "have you seen my key?" and the other responding "no, sorry". In the first panel the characters are framed in the foreground and a mouse carrying a key is a smaller element of the background, off to the side. In the second example, the mouse and key are framed in the foreground from a perspective close to the ground, while the two human characters are in the background.
