I'm going to develop this further in a blog, but the ideas that a) you're an artist when you use AI, despite there bring better words for it: editor, designer, collage creator, is BS b) all AI art needs a labelling system and governments should legally mandate it with hefty fines for penalty

If I was head of Xbox looking at the retro boom (and people trying to play games affordably), I'd think about updating and licensing my old OS system out to retro console makers. Then I'd slap an e-store on there and let people play the games legally.

To the studios and publishers who still think generative AI is a great thing for game development: When next gen comes and AI-fuelled component costs mean people can't afford the $1,000+ consoles your games are on, and you can't recoup costs due to poor sales, it may not feel so nifty then.
