Labour is briefing that they know they won't win the Gorton and Denton by election. The Greens are favourites and are the only party that can stop Reform. Lower bills, tax the rich, protect the NHS. We will win.
In the constituency, embittered labour campaigners have started their slow march into an "inevitable defeat." The wording comes from HQ themselves who are briefing journalists they don't expect to win m

Since 2016 the world has changed immeasurably. Even for those who believed in the lies told then, they can’t anymore: We aren’t stronger alone; we can’t rely on the US to protect us; our biggest trading partner & ally is still the EU. The UK belongs in the EU: always did; always will do.

Analysis suggests Trump taking over Venezuela isn’t really about oil. US don’t need oil and they could do deals to rectify what they believe is owed. This is about reigning supreme in the Western Hemisphere. When will the UK wake up to that fact and who we appear to be supporting? Madness.

England homelessness grown by a fifth since 2022, now 300,000. Successive govts cut local authority funding in real terms, cut real wages/benefits, no curbs on profiteering, lack of social housing. Cheaper to build social housing than using temporary accommodation. Misery is a political choice.
