Normalize saying "this isn't for me" about popular media you're not into and moving on instead of jumping on bandwagons to hate something, or blindly repeating bad faith talking points, or starting harassment campaigns. Social media would be less toxic if more people did that.

Agreed. Even a film of dubious quality can be interesting to look at and analyse the creative decisions made that led to the final cut. It's why I find movies like "Son of the Mask" and "Master of Disguise" so fascinating to watch and learn about to understand the choices the filmmakers made.
