Newly remastered and released today. ⬇️⬇️ In 2000, All Music Guide cheered, “Chaffin's mellifluous-toned tenor fits this music like a formfitting suede glove. And he does so seemingly without any effort at all, like honey running off the tongue.“ The album sounds even more glorious now. 😊

Yesterday I listened to Jerome Moross’ & John Treville Latouche’s “The Golden Apple” from 1954 which combines elements of both the Iliad and the Odyssey with the backdrop of turn-of-the-20th-century America. It also contains the doomer’s national anthem!
