hold computer

my edit: I have erased several words, so the slide reads "A computer can be held. Make a decision"

original QT'd skeet: IBM's slide, "a computer can never be held accountable. therefore a computer must never make a management decision"

Def go for a computer science degree if you’re thinking about school. I would also HIGHLY recommend a website called Scrimba. The platform is much more than just watching a video and copying it. You can learn html, js, css, react and then you’re good to go!

5) NETWORK IN PERSON!!! - find your local incubator and/or go to tech meet ups (use the meetups app). being around other people who are building things will motivate you and put you in the right mindset

4) work on your startup early everyday - you’ll find it harder to make time to work on it everyday AFTER your work and other responsibilities

000

3) talk to your family and friends - we all know business from different perspectives, so talk to them

000

2) you need AI - v0, Cursor AI, ChatGPT - if you are building solo, you DEFINITELY dont know everything. use these to learn and fail fast

1) reddit is your best friend - both for gaining users and gathering user feedback

I’ve been building a sports analytics startup for 6 months so far. Heres 5 things I have learned so far (these are actions that have given me results so far):
