Here is one part that has changed in the past 30 years. We've always had some in Michigan but early warning formulations for alerts have gotten WAY less stringent and the radar tech is much more precise. So yes the number of warnings is up a lot, but early notice and requirements have also changed.

I came of age and got my 1st job in 09; I never saw the average pay per output that greatest, boomers, and most X's saw. show why the wealth gap and economic disconnect of the bottom 80% ish and the top 1% is so extreme. The top 1% are pocketing an extra 10% over the last 15 years.
