My partner's mother & sisters refuse to respect our trans kid. She set a boundary: no access until respect. They have now buddied up with her ex to cross that boundary. There is no coming back from that, even if they start respecting the kid.

I keep seeing Enlightened Centrists™️ complain about purity tests for Dem candidates, but like...the only actual "purity" tests I've seen are "don't be pro genocide" and "do be pro human rights for *all* humans." Doesn't seem like an unreasonably high bar, imo.
