I know people shit on the MCU post-Endgame, but maybe my hottest take of all time is that Endgame has all of the same problems people had with phase 4 5 and 6. It's an enjoyable popcorn shut-off-the-brain movie, but the reason it did so well was what came before it, not because it's an amazing movie

I went through and beat a Mega Man game a night on the OG legacy collection. I sometimes forget how good 4 and 6 are, even if I think the charge broke a lot of these games. I also hate how the legacy collection starts with a horribly loud and poorly mixed mega man 3 theme lol

LRP: Streaming to me is not worth it if 1) You pay a premium and still receive ads (greedy, tbh) 2) The library you wanted is now spread across 80 different services (licenses, greed, etc) The moment they replaced normal tiers with ads and added a more expensive ad free tier, it was over.

Advertising has, historically, been the best way for TV to turn a profit. Streaming tech sold everyone on a promise that they didn't need that money to survive but it simply wasn't true! Unfortunately, reverting back to the actual, succesful option is going to be a PR nightmare...

I had this idea from reading the elizabeth holmes mouse post and then I couldn't do anything else until i painted the idea to completion

I agree with this but also very successful shitty mobile games are always advertising getting 4,000,000 scrumpcoins if you sign up with an affiliate link and people do it despite having no clue what those scrumpcoins are even for or their relative value for a game they’ve never played
