every time i go to the dr they ask me mental health questions, which used to seem like a good idea until i realized they were using that information to gaslight me & deny necessary treatments because i'm a depressed hispanic. now that i refuse to answer those questions, i get much better care.

i'd say that even though communication is important, learning to love yourself is the MOST important thing you can do for any relationship. if you truly love yourself, you'll know what real love feels like. so you'll know how to love unconditionally & you'll never allow yourself to be mistreated
