but the fact that we're inconsistent about things being pluralized by s vs. a unique form is still annoying and trips many people up lol

yeah.. although, much like you can use 個 and 〜つ to count things more generally in jp, you can use phrases like "pieces of" or "a group of"

#fadosshinydiary SO FAST!!! 136 encounters! (well probably closer to 200 since I did some hunts without the harvest setup)

A pokemon named Hokulani. It is a shiny sandyghast , a pile of black sand with blue eyes and stones, and a yelow trowel sticking out of its head

The same shiny sandyghast in pokemon refresh

The same shiny sandyghast but smiling with hearts above its head

#fadosdexdiary or maybe now #fadosshinydiary ? i decided i should actually sos chain for a phantump with harvest since it'll make shiny hunting rarer mons way less tedious! and it was kind of a pain in the ass but, thankfully, only took 3 or so big phantump chains b4 i caught beloved Harvey

The OG Dororo anime is 1969 is an excellent series, one that takes full advantage of being in B&W (the last TV anime to ever be fully produced in monochrome, in fact) to help give the series a great mood. It's staff list also now reads like a literal Anime Hall of Fame. Definitely watch it on Tubi.
