Liz, I loved your NIGHTS EDGE DUOLOGY, but there was something different and special about your re-release of THE PHANTOM FOREST. As an author who also took back rights to my first book and am re-publishing it, what made you want to release an updated version? First of all, thank you for your kind words about TPF! I also felt there was something really different and special about it, and I’d known for some time that I was going to re-release it with updated text.

Amber Hathaway's writing is atmospheric and represents autism and mental health with an impeccable touch. Her way with words is unmatched, and I am so excited that the sequel to her first book, Little White Flowers, is now out! If you love folk horror with V.C. Andrews eclectic gothic vibes, then you must dive into Hathaway's work. I can almost guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

As it turns out, we’re still stuck in the past, as we slave away doing mind numbing tasks, with our entertainment and other enrichment slowly turning to artificial generated content.

I first met Matt Mason in the fall of 2024. At the time, we had an ezine called A Bite of Pride, and he had applied to be a staff writer. Since we were both on the asexual spectrum and emphasized how horror can be healing and cathartic, we hit it off immediately! Since then, even when we dissolved our ezine and staff writers, Matt Mason was such a wonderful friend and support.
