A new top-down attempt to rebrand artificial intelligence data centers as "super intelligence factories" tries too hard and just won't stick with the general public.

Public disclosures of politicians using AI for their leadership communication are becoming more frequent. They all have staff whose duties include speechwriting, but clearly many are taking the easy way out and embarrassing their bosses who are ultimately responsible.

The Harvard Business School case study on the demise of CBS News will be a banger.
The problem is that her strategy appears to be driving an increasing number of CBS News's core audience away while failing to attract any of Fox's viewers. In fact, according to Nielsen data obtained by Zeteo, the news network's weekday offerings are in danger of getting passed by Murdoch's cable news programs head-to-head.
During July, 'CBS Mornings' averaged just 1.623 million total viewers per day, compared to the
1.436 г
illion that 'Fox & Friends' pulled in for the
month. The gap between the shows, now at 13%, has narrowed considerably. When Weiss became the head of the network, 'CBS Mornings' held a 26% advantage over Fox's morning program. July was the lowest-rated month in 'CBS Mornings' history.

Politicians are trying to influence what AI chatbots say about them. Corporations have already been doing the same. Managing how AI systems characterize a subject is already a key part of reputation management. Understanding how AI systems form their answers is important for the people using them.

The liar isn’t the most dangerous communicator. It’s the person who doesn’t care if they’re telling the truth. A new study explains why: false claims are more believable from truth-indifferent sources than known liars (and corrections that kill lies bounce off bullshit). Repetition does the rest.
