congratulations, social media, you can finally have a stream of consciousness post since my wife is unable to answer my texts rn 😔

I want to make myself a little afternoon iced coffee treat, but I should wait until it's time to pick up my car from the shop (as it's a ~15 min walk in the sun and it'll be needed for strength)... so please mr. mechanic, if you're out there...

go, my bisexual ttrpg characters....! here's a quick, silly doodle to celebrate the Holiday (and because I was very pleased to realize they already have bi color palettes)

an illustration of three characters; two stand on the outside and hold their arms out to make a large heart. The third character stands in the middle and poses with two peace signs. The leftmost character is a large pink tiefling with blue and purple hair, wearing a crop top. The rightmost character is a sullen looking man wearing a Victorian era jacket, with long silky black hair. The middle character is the youngest and shortest man, with a sideshave, glasses, and an abstract tattoo sleeve. The background is a large bisexual pride flag.

I’ve had a conversation like this at every networking event I’ve been to in the last year:

The umbrella academy driving meme. Chekhov is driving from right to left and making eye contact with Five as he drives left to right.
The captions read:
Top: diversifying into animation because the games industry is a binfire
Bottom: diversifying into games because the animation industry is a binfire.

my physical copy of Fortune's Weave is delayed until monday.... commiserate with me w/ a cooldown Mike sketch 😔🚬

A sketch of a young man, sitting cross legged with a lit cigarette. He has long lavender dyed hair tied in a braid, with a dark green plaid flannel.

every time a show that should be 2D animated is instead announced to be live action... an angel loses its wings, etc. etc.

a pretty good vantage point ('til curtain call) #TitaniumCourt 🌙💙

an illustration using the color scheme of the game "Titanium Court." The drawing features a character, Puck Goodfellow, sitting on the edge of the castle walls, looking wistfully into the distance while holding a glass of wine. There are two pop-ups: one of two empty wine bottles, and one of a "no parking" sign.

ttrpg OCs + playing with brushes/colors yayy 💙🩷

a drawing of a young man in a limited color palette of pinks, blues, purples, and whites. Two tattooed hands cup his face, and a starry beam of light comes from his forehead.

a drawing with the same limited color palette of a young man awkwardly posing, with two streams of pink blood coming from his palms. His trench coat is draped like a magician's cape and he has a symbolic wreath around his head.

these two gotta be in my top #5 fave designs from #SovereignTower i <3 bickering brothers, i <3 minor characters, etc. etc.

fanart of Gotfrig and Rorik, two minor characters from the video game Sovereign Tower. The two half-brothers angrily point and argue with each other, with their matching griffins dramatically posing in the background.

one week + three playthroughs later... ough there's too many good characters to make fanart for in this game...!! #SovereignTower

Fanart of the character Gideon from the game Sovereign Tower. He is in a stained-glass window shaped border, holding a pink rose. He has long, wavy blue hair and is wearing knight's armor with lace and pearls.

Fanart of the character Ari from the Game Sovereign Tower. He is in a shield like border. He has a hand up to pet his pet Griffin. He is wearing knight's armor with a big feathery cloak.

very excited for my yearly artfight indulgence! 🧡 i'm going out of character to align with team comedy, as I predict my general taste in OCs will have me on the front lines attacking mystery/tragedy hehe artfight.net/~powernap

an artfight "team comedy" artist card, for "powernap." they attack "ttrpg characters, cowboys, vampires, people with cool wings, and couples/duos/trios" and have marked friendly fire and revenge as checkmarks, with mass attacks as a crossed mark. they indicate they have human, vampire, harpy, aasimar, elf, tiefling, and more types of characters. their featured characters include: Art, a smug human with a cartoon jester hat, Octavian, a dark-haired grim looking human, Yellow, a confident harpy woman, Danve, a mischievous aasimar, and Vance, an exasperated elf.

trying out new art styles just because 🔥 so excited to kick off a blades in the dark campaign with this freak sometime ⬇️

a digital painting primarily in purple, blue, and red tones. a man stands in front of a burning shack at night, silhouetted by the light of the flames. he has long, shiny hair, and one hand is dripping with blood. the art is drawn with a lot of crosshatched and sketchy lines.

the illusion of peace 🚏 ... welp! finished my playthrough of titanium court, and it gave me a lot of feelings and emotions! anyway that means i had to draw our protagonist!! women

an illustration for the game "titanium court." it is with a limited color palette of blues, yellow, and pink. a marionette with blond hair drops two checkmark and x choice boxes, as they are being puppetted by a mysterious figure. pop-ups in the style of the game show three keys, a roundabout sign, and the text box "do you look back, even just on-"

the era of Vancetines may be over... but with our first session scheduled for the sequel campaign... the era of Danventines shall begin....!

a valentines card. Danve, a smug half-aasimar, crosses their arms with a smile. the text reads "play your cards right, valentine, and you can be my right hand when I take over the world"

jess mercury @powernappin.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

it's the first time in 5 years that I don't have a Vance valentine to make today, now that our d&d campaign has wrapped... so here's a look at some of the previous years Vancentines! 💙

It's a valentine. A cartoon drawing of Vance, a ginger-haired half-elf, winks. The text reads: "can I make an arcana check? cuz I think you've put a spell on me, valentine!"

It's a valentine. A cartoon drawing of Vance, a ginger-haired half-elf. this time he looks a little nervous. the text reads "hey valentine, uh... i'm kinda being possessed by my mom right now so it's not a great time to flirt. sorry."
