The maple trees in the yard have rain-washed leaves, heavy and clean, in truly brilliant colors. ❤️🧡💛💚 #ColorADay #RedWed #Trees #Photography #ECK

A high-angle, full-frame photograph captures the dense canopy of maple trees displaying a vibrant transition of autumn foliage. The leaves are heavy, glistening, and deeply saturated, appearing freshly washed by recent rain.
The composition is filled entirely with layers of foliage, showcasing a striking gradient of colors:
The right side is dominated by clusters of intense, fiery red and deep crimson leaves that draw the eye immediately.
The center and top areas shift into bright orange, warm amber, and golden-yellow tones.
The left side and background feature remaining patches of lush forest green and pale lime green, highlighting the ongoing seasonal change.
Dark, slender branches web through the leaves, adding structure to the dense texture. The overall lighting is soft and overcast, which eliminates harsh shadows and amplifies the rich, glowing contrast of the autumn colors against the dark wood.

I had not been to these park for months, but luckily this belted kingfisher is somewhat predictable in its location. #Birds #Kingfisher #Wildlife #Nature #Photography

A belted kingfisher sits on a thin branch against a pale blue sky. Fishing line is, unfortunately, visible on the branch.

A downy woodpecker. I was thrilled to get a photo that wasn't of this bird hanging out on the side of a tree trunk. #birds #photography #birdsofbluesky

The river is low in the fall, but it means you can get farther down the bank for pics! #nature #autumn #pnw #goodnight #photography #nokings #BeKind

Itchy chipmunk is itchy.

A least chipmunk scratches itself. Feels pretty good.

A least chipmunk, still itchy, scratches some more. Tries two paws this time. So good.

A least chipmunk scratches its chin with its foot. I can do that too, but I don’t want to.

A least chipmunk goes full contortionist with the scratching. Its foot is twisted, practically in another dimension, to get at an itch who knows where, really.

#aiart #promptshare Title: The Little Star Bunny Style: Loose watercolor children's book illustration, wet-on-wet technique with ink linework and gold leaf accents, visible cold-press paper texture Prompt in ALT

A tender children's storybook illustration painted in loose, flowing watercolor: the bunny rendered in soft washes of blush pink, lavender, and warm cream, sitting in a meadow where wet-on-wet blossoms bleed dreamily into the paper. Its oversized eyes are two small deep-blue pools dotted with escaped white specks of starlight, and a genuine gold-leaf star gleams on its forehead. Fine ink pen lines define its whiskers and paws, while a spiral of loose petals swirls upward on an invisible breeze.
Style: Loose watercolor children's book illustration, wet-on-wet technique with ink linework and gold leaf accents, visible cold-press paper texture
Composition: Soft centered vignette with generous white paper margins, diagonal petal current guiding the eye, airy negative space above the subject
Lighting: Gentle diffused sunlit wash glowing from the upper right, luminous paper-white highlights, no hard shadows
Adjectives: tender, whimsical, airy, nostalgic, gentle
