New version of my rain team, Raichu, Golisopod, and Pelipper used to be Manectric, Meganium, and Politoed respectively, any ideas for Raichu's moveset ?

It literally isn't, did you get here from my replies or just find this post by yourself?

I looked at the little blurb on the home page, he didn't say anything about him being sad about the closing, am I looking in the wrong place?

Not to be dramatic, but for me personally, this is tantamount to announcing the end of the world. More than half the reason I like Pokemon as a franchise is the interconnectivity. Dexit stung but was bearable because of home. This cuts of gens 3-7 from the switch. I am distraught.

Wasn't saying it makes the games unplayable but that doesn't stop it from being a problem.

Pory2/AceTrainerEvelyn @porymon.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Sorry I didn't forsee a friend's save corrupting ig, you didn't need to say what you said anyway, it's a genuine problem that they're doing this, it's cutting off 25 years of games, there's a reason people are mad, this is about preservation, this isn't something that should be defended.

Nah, you're fine, you're not the one who prompted my reply.

It annoys me that most people reporting on this do it neutrally like this is something that's normal, even Serebii did it...

So when older games get cut off from Pokemon HOME when Bank closes, has there been a way found yet to assign proper Home trackers to Pokemon transferred in by less official means?? Or are things gonna totally be cut off next year forever??

I only got my 2DS in 2023 cuz of the eShop closing, then I put some old members from both the 3DS and Switch eras into a friend's copy of Scarlet that corrupted a few months ago, since then I've been trying to get everyone back AND beat my backlog from the 3DS era, not everyone had the same time.

Pory2/AceTrainerEvelyn @porymon.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Probably won't be able to transfer to HOME, the button for transfer from Bank will probably be removed cuz it'll be "redundant" (which is TPC for "ha, we don't want you to be able to use fan servers cuz then you'll be able to use Bank for its originally intended purpose like before!")

White 2, not White, and that friend's Scarlet copy corrupted

Pory2/AceTrainerEvelyn @porymon.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Heh, I'm almost done with White, then I have to finish X, Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Blue, and Gold and restart Moon and Red, will I ever start Yellow and Crystal? I have no idea now, a bunch of my old team members were stuck in a friend's copy of Scarlet so I'm focusing on what I have now.
